Candidate Information (Running for Office)

Before we have elected officials, we have candidates on the ballot.  Before we have candidates on the ballot, we have voting citizens who decide to run for office.  This page is Lunenburg's effort to help individuals who want to become a candidate.  Virginia's Department of Elections provides a lot of guidance documents and there are scores of politically-minded consultants, campaign managers, field directors, election attorneys, etc. that you can hire to be part of your campaign committee's team.  The advice provided includes links to the ELECT resources for candidates.  Good luck!
